The CSS Director, Associate Professor Togialelei Safua Akeli Amaama represented the National University of Samoa at the Pacific Connect Ideas Exchange held in Sydney, Australia (16-19 September) at the New South Wales Parliament House. Funded by the Australian International Centre for Democratic Partnerships (ICDP) and the Global Access Partners (GAP), the exchange provided the opportunity to further develop research projects across the region. The CSS Director presented alongside colleagues Ms Sarah Mak (Storyboxes) from Brisbane and Mr Daniel Stricker (VR Global Village) on a Climate Change and Cultural Heritage Project titled ‘Shifting Homes’. The project collaboration involves colleagues from Samoa and Australia and will be developed further over the next few months towards funding opportunities.
