Sā’ili’iliga o le lāuga fa’asāmoa, i lona fausaga ma le fa’atinoga fa’apea le fa’aaogāina o le fue, to’oto’o ma le malae. O le a faia ni fa’ata’ita’iga ma fa’atinoga o lāuga ma le alofisā ma o la sauniuniga ‘ese’ese e ali’i ma tama’ita’i ā’oga.

This course is a study of traditional Samoan oratory, its structure and techniques, the use of the fly whisk and rod, as well as malae (meeting ground) etiquettes. Students will participate in cultural events in which they will demonstrate what they have learned.
Prerequisites: One 100-level HSA course

Assessment: 50% coursework, 50% examination
