Description
The course will introduce students to gender considerations in development policy and planning, now required by most international agencies. Students will learn about the theoretical contexts from which attention became directed to gender issues in development. They will learn how to apply concepts of gender analysis, gender planning, and gender mainstreaming to planning processes with specific reference to Samoa.Contact hours: 2 hours per week
