	Directions for use: To view zipped map file: 1. Install ArcGIS Explorer Desktop [free]      [http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/explorer-desktop/download] 2. Download the CSS Samoa BaseMap.zip file.      [Also at the top of the main map page.] 3. Unzip this file FIRST to the "C:\CSS_GIS_Explorer" directory       You only need to do this ONCE.      (MUST use this directory for maps to work.      This is the base map upon which all the other      maps are drawn.) 4. Unzip other files (eg: Jackmond78.zip) to the      "C:\CSS_GIS_Explorer" directory as well.      (Again, MUST use this directory for ALL maps to work properly.) 5. Open: [map file].nmf (eg: J78_Savaii.nmf) from the      "C:\CSS_GIS_Explorer" diectory.      (file should open in "ArcGIS Explorer Desktop")
	Options Available in "ArcGIS Explorer Desktop" : 1. Inside the "CSS Samoa BaseMap"      a. Villages [non-active: turn on with checkmark]          [Right click (high light), then TOOLS, then          ATTRIBUTE TABLE for more data]      b. Rivers [active]      c. Roads [active]      d. Height contour [non-active: turn on with checkmark]      e. Reefs [non-active: turn on with checkmark]      f. Costal_region [non-active: turn on with checkmark]      f. Land Mass [active] 2. Each survey (ie: Letolo, etc.) is active.      a. ... Survey Map (Archaeological Survey overlay)[active]       double click to zoom to location,       enlarge as needed      b. Letolo Paddock OL77       The platation paddocks that existed in 1977.       [Worked well in ArcMAP but not as accurate in Explorer]      c. Letolo Roads OL77       Approximate location of the platation roads that       existed in 1977.      d. Letolo Docs:          Letolo Legend.docs            [opens as a seperate MS word doc]            - legend for Letolo Map          Letolo Site Data Key.xlsx            [opens as a seperate Excel spreadsheet]            - explaination (key) for site data          Letolo Site Data.xlsx            [opens as a seperate Excel spreadsheet]            - field data from Letolo Survey [incomplete]      e. ... Photos (photos from the survey).         Access by one of following ways:            1. activate photo with check mark, zoom in as needed,              double click on photo to see photo            2. left click on photo in "Contents" menu to select,              right click for popup menu, choose "Show Popup"      f. Related Links (urls to publications about the survey area).      Sapapalii Plantation Road Survey 1976 has similar info.
If "resize icon" does not respond, use Keyboard CTRL-ArrowUp/Down; also use Up/ Down/ Left/ Right Arrows to move around.
